IT Senior Service Desk Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a candidate that possess general awesomeness. Highly acute awesomeness is also acceptable, but only if it relates to the position. In this role you will provide IT support services and end user support across the company handling internal tickets and providing escalation support

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide internal IT support to end users, including computer, phone, O365 and mobile devices
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems
  • Respond to service requests
  • Use help desk system to document, prioritize and track requests with action taken
  • Triage and prioritize tickets
  • Escalation point for the first level user support staff
  • Provide on-call service for service emergencies
  • Administer Active Directory
  • Plan and administer end user training as required
  • Provide IT Orientation for new employees
  • Provide basic server and network support
  • Assist with the implementation, deployment and operation of information systems and technology solutions
  • Research, design, and implement the appropriate technologies to support and improve corporate communications, access to information, and end user productivity as directed
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective acquisition of technology purchases
  • Assist with IT projects


  • Post secondary education in Computer Science or related program
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot hardware and software for all aspects of the environment, including computers, printers, mobile devices, network hardware, cabling, and phones
  • Knowledge of networking, operation system and service architectures in a Windows domain environment, including Windows 10 & Windows Server
  • Subject matter expert in Office 365, Active Directory, and remote desktop
  • Good knowledge of the network support cycle using an IT Help Desk
  • Experience with Exchange Online
  • Experience with Cisco phone systems
  • Working knowledge of best IT security practices
  • Ability to explain IT concepts and theories to non-technical audiences
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Your own vehicle is required to travel to our locations, mileage expenses will be reimbursed
