The Government of Ontario has continued to list businesses that manufacture inputs to other manufacturers as an essential service. As a supplier of metal materials to smelters, mills, foundries and other manufacturers, CMI will remain open during this difficult time.
While our hours of operations have not changed, returning customers may notice some other changes in our yards in order to better protect both our customers and our staff. From small things such as not providing shared pens for use to more noticeable things such as practicing social distancing, there have been many measures taken so far but the general flow of things should still be quite familiar.
As the situation evolves, you may notice further changes in the yard. As of now, there is nothing you need to do differently before bringing your metal in to the yard.
